My fees for a 45-50 minute session range from $150 to $250 depending on the treatment option requested, with some sliding scale appointments available based on financial need. I believe everyone deserves to have the space to be heard, so if I’m not the right fit personally for financially, I’ll do my best to help you find the person who is!
25-30 minute short-term coping skill-building sessions are available for $75-100 and are typically completed in 5-10 sessions. -
While I do not directly bill your insurance company, I can provide a monthly superbill upon request so that you may seek partial reimbursement from your insurance company.
Your individual plan may or may not provide benefits for out of network providers. I offer the service to all of my potential clients to make the initial phone call to your provider to check what, if any, out of network mental health benefits they provide.

This truly depends on your needs. I always recommend beginning with weekly sessions to establish our relationship and to tend to your immediate mental wellness needs more consistently at their peak. We will regularly revisit session frequency as treatment progresses and may reduce to biweekly sessions (which can always be increased again) when it feels comfortable for you to do so with the coping techniques you’ve learned.

I conduct the majority of my sessions online via a secure telehealth room via Zoom. I offer a limited number of sessions in person at the South Bay Wellness office in North Redondo Beach.
All Oregon-based clients are seen via telehealth at this time.

I am located in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, California. I can work with any client across California and Oregon via telehealth and see some clients at an office in Redondo Beach.
I have my own therapy practice, Claire Morrison Therapy - a 100% virtual practice, where I see clients in both states. You can read more about how I work in the “Services” and “About Me” sections
I am also employed by South Bay Wellness, a private practice here in the South Bay, and have been with them since early 2018. We have established ourselves as a go-to mental wellness service for local families and schools for over a decade. In addition to my work with individuals and families, I also created an in-school social emotional learning (SEL) program that has been utilized both inside and outside of the classroom for hundreds of children at multiple local public and private schools across our community since 2019. I have personally facilitated both in-school and afterschool SEL groups for elementary and middle school students and have offered presentations to parents and staff as well.
In addition to our contracted SEL work within schools, I offer a personalized version of the program for individuals and small groups via Zoom or at a local park in the summertime. Let me know if you are interested in this and we can discuss your options!
