Therapy for Adults in California & Oregon
Adulthood doesn't always look the way we imagined it would. You might find yourself juggling responsibilities, struggling to set boundaries, questioning your worth, or feeling like everyone else received an instruction manual you somehow missed. Maybe anxiety and self-doubt have become familiar companions, relationships feel complicated, or you're carrying the weight of expectations from work, family, society, or yourself. Whatever brings you here, you don't have to navigate it alone. Sometimes these experiences include depression, panic, thoughts of self-harm, difficulty concentrating, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Support is available for those experiences, too.
I also work with many LGBTQIA+ adults and value creating a space where you don't have to explain or defend who you are. Whether you're exploring your identity for the first time (maybe in a long time!), navigating relationships, processing experiences of rejection or discrimination, or simply wanting a therapist who personally understands that queerness is one part of a much larger and more nuanced story, you are welcome here.
My goal in individual therapy isn’t to pull your proverbial bootstraps up for you, but to help you find the motivation, strength, and clarity to do it yourself. My personal experience in therapy has taught me a few things: feeling strong emotions can feel scary but can also be safe to do, it’s okay to ask for help, I am capable of positive change, and while I may make mistakes along the way, that doesn’t mean I should quit trying. If you’re ready to take that first step toward healing (or especially if you feel you’re not!), let’s talk and figure it out together.
Somewhere along the way, many of us learned that asking for help meant weakness, or that we should be able to figure things out on our own. But healing isn't a solo endeavor. Therapy can be a space to slow down, untangle the stories you've been carrying, and reconnect with the strengths and values that already exist within you.
If you're an adult in California or Oregon, I'd love the opportunity to connect and see whether we're a good fit.
